There's an actual company in N.J. called Tension Envelopes. Here's a sketch that explores what it might be like to work there. This one was written by Jon and performed by the usual group.
I like this one. Lot's of manic energy and screaming. Very cathartic after a long week.
Have a look!

Dave Wasklewicz calls this one a breakthrough. Seriously, he said it, not me.
Another brilliant episode from the Play Cole Players! Startling work, Brian -- who said vaudeville was dead!
We got our eye on you!
These look great! You are a good actor....then again, I am one of your biggest fans.....
I was talkig to Jon the other night and actually said the commotion from the other room was "normal cat murmur"
None the less, good work!
Nice work. Can someone please explain to me what the f$%^k tension envelopes are by the way?

Ron passes it every day on I 80.
There's not much more to it than that.
I have a tension headache from replaying Brian screaming "We're Tension Envelopes, asshole!" over and over. I can't put my finger on who you sound like there (some cartoon character, I'd guess, or maybe Blassie) but you reminded me of Jackie Gleason at times. Funny stuff.
Watching this makes me mourn "Grandpa's a Mean Old Bastard" and all those other lost (?) videos we made fifteen years ago. Where are they? Dammit, nothing works, everything's broken!
Oh, and it's nice to see Dante working again.
This is some of the best Play Cole work I've seen, seriously, its great. I can see how it combines a lot of other characters and moments from the other sketches and puts it all together and one good piece. Everyone brought their A game for the sketch and it showed. There's something developing and it looks cool.
Brian deserves a golden globe for his Staples outburst and Jon should get a Fangoria award for creepiest looking old guy. Jon, you should do a horror flick, seriously, you're a scary mutha' fuck with some baby powder in your hair.
I figured out who Brian sounds like--Lee Ving, lead singer for Fear. Too bad you won't find "Let's Have a War" any karaoke binders...
I'm not familiar with his work, but thank you. Funny, yelling like that actually relieved my tension headache.
Happy Birthday Brian!!!!!
Yes, we are getting old.
